Final leaderboard

Medals, winner-row glow, scorecard-based totals, and real tie-breakers built in. The live total is currently out of 80 because eye color and hair color are still pending, but date, time, weight, length, and day-of-week now reward near misses instead of only exact hits.

How the scoring works now

This matches the baby-pool scorecard: the name line uses bracket-round scoring, while the measurable categories use a sliding scale so closer guesses earn more points.

Name category

The baby name line is not an exact-match only. It scores by bracket round: 0 for Cedric, Benjamin, Blaze, Cyrus, Chase, Zane, Ryker, and Chandler; 5 for Arthur, Forrest, Frederick, and Augustus (Auggie); 10 for Octavius and Silas; 20 for Theodore; and 30 for Beaumont.

Birth Day

Exact birth date earns 15 points.

Birth Time, Day of Week, Weight, Length

Exact birth time earns 10 points. Exact day of the week earns 10. Exact birth weight earns 10. Exact birth length earns 5.

Eye Color and Hair Color

Each exact match is worth 10 points. These will stay pending until he locks in his final eye and hair color.

Current leaderboard status

The live board below scores the known categories and holds eye color and hair color as pending. Date, time, weight, and length don't punish near misses like total whiffs. Once eye and hair are final, those two columns will be updated and the final leaderboard will be posted.

Tie-breakers

When two people land on the same total, the closer birth date wins first, then closer birth weight, then closer birth time, then submission time.
